Questions concerning this RFP must be made in writing and e-mailed to questions@househoward.org. Questions must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on August 9, 2024. Answers to questions and any addenda/amendments to the RFP will be posted by August 14, 2024 on the Commission's website. The contract period shall be for one year with one-year renewal options, exercisable at the sole discretion of the Commission, through the execution of the intended construction contract discussed below. The Contractor is being on-boarded before the renovation program is designed and documented in order to work with the Commission and the architectural /engineering firm (the "Architect") (currently being separately procured) in the development of the program. The Commission intends to ultimately negotiate and execute a construction contract with Contractor as the Project moves toward financial closing. The Commission expects to use a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) construction contract with the scope, price, and term to be determined.
