Site work for a road / highway in Kingston, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required for the installation of Kitsap PUD provided fiber cables for the Nature Way/Frogsong and Kingston Farm fiber projects using the strand and lash construction methods along PSE poles, and installation of conduit in Kitsap County ROW and in private roads within existing utility easements. Coordinate with participating Homeowners for the proper location and installation of the conduit/duct and Demarc placements. KPUD has pre-purchased and will provide the fiber, vaults, pedestals, multi-port terminals (MPT), ROC drops and storage racks to the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for including all other materials necessary for construction of the project in their bid including but not limited to: suspension clamps, anchors, preforms, lashing wire, lashing clamps, straps and spacers, conduit bends, etc. The Kitsap PUD is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is partially funded through the Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board with federal funds from the U.S. Treasury ARPA Capital Project Funds. Contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. Contractors are encouraged to commit to local hires for this project. Small, Minorityand Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. A 5% bid guarantee is required in the form of certified or cashier's check, or surety bond. Contractor shall be required to have the Contract physically completed within forty five (45) working days. See Section 1-08.5(1) of the Special Provisions for more comprehensive information. The Contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. Kitsap PUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding in accordance with the specifications.
