The City of Quincy, acting through the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is soliciting Qualifications from Landscape Architects for design service and construction admin services for various small parklets around the City (approximately 15) to help design a Heritage Tree planting program and park improvement project to help celebrate the City's 400th anniversary as a settlement. The qualifications-based selection of professional services may include, but are not limited to, landscape design services, tree and plant material recommendation, hardscape design and recommendation, design development, final design documents to be bid under MGL Chapter 30, Section 39M, public bid support services, construction administration and construction oversight services, and any other related services or processes contemplated in MGL Chapter 7C. Inquiries will be accepted until August 9, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. The City of Quincy Department of Natural Resources shall lead a QBS process that may include shortlisting firms for interviews. A designer fee has not yet been set and will be negotiated with the most Highly Advantageous respondent. The City of Quincy reserves the right to withdraw the RFQ; to reject any and all RFQ responses; and to accept the response deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Quincy. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
