Site work for a water / sewer project in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the replacement of approximately 9,600 linear feet of existing 8-inch diameter water mains with 8-inch and 12-inch diameter water mains, replacement of water services and meter settings, replacement of existing fire hydrants, and addition of new fire hydrants. The project includes asphalt patching, milling and resurfacing, concrete curb and gutter replacement and other surface restoration pay items. The project also includes other items incidental to the infrastructure replacement, such as: disposal of materials removed; maintenance of traffic, and restoration of disturbed areas outside of the pavement, as identified in the Contract Documents. Specifically, the contractor will be required to provide arboricultural mitigation for trees impacted, per the provided Arborist Report and plan sheets and to secure road closure requests after submission of acceptable Temporary Traffic Control plans. This project is being constructed in advance of a planned Leon County resurfacing project.
