This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires 26% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on October 24, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase III engineering services are required to provide construction engineering for subject improvement. Work includes, but is not limited to, rehabilitation of several bridges along IL-53 from Kirchoff Road to Anderson Drive. This includes the full superstructure replacement of IL-53 at Kirchoff Road, Palatine Road, and Anderson Drive. Additional work includes deck replacement of IL-53 at Industrial Avenue and US 14, and culvert repairs at IL-53 at Salt Creek. Additional improvements include the ramp repairs, resurfacing of IL-53, signal improvements, lighting, and ITS improvements, any and all incidentals required to complete the project. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Construction Inspection) category to be considered for this project. Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS).
