This project consists of rehabilitation of existing bridge including partial depth patching, replacement of concrete slope protection, removal and replacement of sidewalk slab, with associated temporary shoring and traffic control. Any questions from the prospective Bidders will be accepted in writing until noon, Thursday, August 15, 2024. After this date no questions will be answered. Questions submitted should be directed to Kyle Hartlage at Engineering@flylouisville.com. All questions must be put on the Bid Question Form (See Attachment #7). Each sealed Bid shall be accompanied by an irrevocable Bank Letter of Credit, or satisfactory Bid Bond with good corporate surety, in a sum not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the Bid, payable without condition to the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, to guarantee that if the Bidder's offer results in an Award, the Bidder will furnish all required bonds, insurance certificate(s) and insurance policy(ies) within ten (10) Calendar Days after the Notice of Award is given, and enter into the Contract within thirty (30) Calendar Days after the Notice of Award is given. The Authority has a No Contact Policy which prohibits communication or contact by Bidders(s) or its representative(s) directed at members of the Authority's Board, its employees, its consultants, or its other representatives concerning the subject of the Bid Documents except as permitted by the Bid Documents.
