Site work for a transportation facility in Seatac, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The Project includes a new fixed walkway section at Gate A9. Demo of existing PCCP Panels to provide for new footing locations, pour new walkway support column, demo of and installation of Bollards, demo and relocation of Mechanical & Electrical piping and components, and demo and restriping at the ramp level. The work area is located at the ramp level at Gate A9, within the AOA of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 17801 International Boulevard, SeaTac, WA 98168. A. This Project will provide a re-configuration of Gate A9 and remove obstructions at Gate A8 for it to function as designed with a 777-200ER aircraft. B. The Project will include a new fixed walkway section at Gate A9 to connect to the re-located Rotunda and Passenger Loading Bridge. There will be demo of existing PCCP Panels to provide for new footing locations and pour back, new walkway support column, demo of and installation of Bollards, demo and relocation of Mechanical & Electrical piping and components, and demo and restriping at the ramp level. Project number : 21081.02 The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $1.8-$2.2 million Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 200 calendar days. The WMBE utilization goal is 10% for this contract. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Workforce diversity goals for this apprentice participation are identified in the Section 01 32 45 Apprenticeship Program. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Section, to obtain information on available apprenticeship programs. The Port of Seattle, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.
