Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Crane Naval Depot, Indiana. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
This design build project is to renovate the B3168 process B chilled water system at NSA Crane in support the building mission. The work also includes work with a second process B chilled water system and the HVAC chilled water systems. The work will include but not be limited to new chillers, pumps, air separators, valves, pipework, insulation, conduit, wire, safety switches, concrete equipment pads, controls and ancillary equipment. The project shall minimize downtime of the process B chilled water system in the facility. This shall be accomplished by installing the new process B system that is complete and usable prior to the removal of the old one. The government has provided a schematic indicating project location that was used for the government estimate and performance requirements.
