Demolition and site work for a residential development in Bowling Green, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Demolition and site clearance will consist of the demolition and removal of all structures, garages and accessory buildings, all building contents, decks, fencing, bushes and shrubs, sidewalks not in the Right-of-Way, concrete steps, concrete slabs, retaining walls, screen walls, HVAC Equipment, fire pits, landscape timbers, boulders, yard debris, parking lots including stone lots, bollards, parking stops, pipe framing, clothes lines, fencing, trees (as indicated on Site Notes), bushes, concrete floor slabs and footings, foundation walls, columns, floors, piers, septic systems, wells, cisterns, partitions, walls, stoops and any other subsurface structures, filling with soil and compacting all excavations; applying a minimum 6" of top soil to match the adjacent ground elevations; grading and smoothing of the site for proper drainage. All areas of bare topsoil after demolition shall have hydroseed applied by the demolition contractor. The intent of this project is that the Contractor clear everything from the site so that only trees and lawn remain, unless noted otherwise. Bowling Green State University is seeking bids to provide all labor and material for the demolition of residential properties located at 702, 808, and 812 E. Wooster Street. CONSTRUCTION START DATE FOR 808 AND 812 E. WOOSTER September 9, 2024 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OF 808 AND 812 E. WOOSTER September 21, 2024 CONSTRUCTION START DATE FOR 707 E. WOOSTER October 14, 2024 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OF 707 E. WOOSTER October 28, 2024 Small business - An independently owned and operated business which, together with affiliates, has 250 or fewer employees or average annual gross receipts of $10 million or less averaged over the previous three years. Department of Minority Business Enterprise (DMBE) certified women-owned and minority-owned business shall also be considered small business when they have received DMBE small business certification. Women-owned business - A business concern that is at least 51% owned by one or more women who are U. S. citizens or legal resident aliens, or in the case of a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company or other entity, at least 51% of the equity ownership interest is owned by one or more women who are citizens of the United States or non-citizens who are in full compliance with the United States immigration law, and both the management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more women who are U. S. citizens or legal resident aliens. Minority-owned business - A business concern that is at least 51% owned by one or more minority individuals or in the case of a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company or other entity, at least 51% of the equity ownership interest in the corporation, partnership, or limited liability company or other entity is owned by one or more minority individuals and both the management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more minority individuals. State of Ohio Certified MBE (Attach Certificate) - A minority business enterprise is defined as (1) an individual who is a United States citizen and owns and controls a business; or (2) a partnership, corporation, or joint venture of any kind that is owned and controlled by United States citizens; provided that (3) the citizen or citizens are residents of this state and are members of one of the following economically disadvantaged groups: Blacks or African Americans, American Indians, Hispanics or Latinos, and Asians. See Ohio Revised Code Section 122.71. Bowling Green State University reserves the right to award by items, groups of items, or as a whole, whichever is deemed most advantageous to BGSU. Price alone will not be the sole determining factor in the selection process. The Supplier deemed to be fully qualified and best suited among those submitting written proposals and/or oral presentations will be identified on the basis of the evaluation factors stated throughout the specification section Question Deadline 08/13/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions regarding this RFP must be asked through online.
