Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Bowling Green, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The City of Bowling Green, Ohio, is accepting sealed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for professional services for the following: Professional Programming, Site Due Diligence/Analysis, and Concept Design A/E Services for New Fire Station Facilities Professional Services for Study of Renovations and Expansion to Existing Police Facility The City of Bowling Green Department of Safety has two current facilities: 552 E. Court Street (Fire Station) and 175 West Wooster Street (Police Station). The City, in consideration of the current condition of these facilities and additional community needs including growth, is beginning the process of evaluating its safety facilities. The professional services needed for each facility are differentiated as described below. Fire Station Facilities: The selected firm will work with the City to develop a Program of Requirements (POR) for up to two fire stations. The firm will conduct programming, site due diligence/analysis, concept design, financial projects, and other related activities. Police Station Renovation: The selected firm will develop a Program of Requirements (POR) for renovation and the addition of a communications center at the Citys existing historic building at 175 W. Wooster Street. The firm will provide concept design A/E and an opinion of probable construction cost. Attendance and participation at public meetings may be required. Work to be completed and presented in fall of 2024. Questions regarding the project should be emailed to bgcity@bgohio.org with the subject line SOQ Safety Facilities. The City intends to respond within 2 business days after receiving the question. Questions received after DATE will not be considered. Respondents will be evaluated in accordance with ORC 153.65-.73 and ranked based on the information provided in the SOQ. Upon completion of the evaluation, the City will enter contract negotiations with the firm ranked most qualified. The selected firm will be required to submit Certificates of Insurance including Workers Compensation, Employers Liability, Comprehensive Public Liability and Property Damage with bodily injury, Automobile Liability, and Professional Liability The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
