Renovation of an educational facility in Sherman, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of September 17, 2024, project was awarded to Allgaier Construction with bid amount of $54,000 & (Alternate #1 All work associated with renovations in room 302 Girls Room $43,000). Project Location: K-12 Building 127 Park Street Sherman, NY 14781 Concurrent Work: Owner will award a prime contract for the following construction operations at Project site. Those operations will be conducted simultaneously with work under this Contract. 1. General Trades ACCESS TO SITE A. General: Contractor shall have limited use of Project site for construction operations and as indicated by requirements of this Section. B. Use of Site: Limit use of Project site to areas within the Contract limits indicated. Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond areas in which the Work is indicated. C. Condition of Existing Building: Maintain portions of existing building affected by construction operations in a weathertight condition throughout construction period. Repair damage caused by construction operations. The Design of This Project Conforms to All Applicable Provisions of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, the New York State Energy Conservation Code, and the Building Standards of the New York State Education Department. No New Asbestos Containing Building Materials (Acbm) Shall Be Used in Construction The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The work of this agreement shall include, but not limited to, all labor, materials, tools, equipment, plant, supplies, shop drawings, layout, transportation, supervision, contributions, insurance compliance with all agencies (Town, County, State and federal as may be required), and shall cover all other items necessary for the performance of the Awarded Contracts as shown detailed and/or implied by the following documents and as defined herein. This requisition is intended to supplement the Contract Specifications and drawings and must be used in coordination with these documents to fully understand the Scope of Work. Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid.
