Cantilever Slide Access Gates with Operators (Part Only). Questions and Inquiries Concerning Bid or Contract: If a Bidder has a question or inquiry concerning the Bidding Documents or concerning any technical requirements relating to the equipment or services to be furnished, inquiry should be made to (purchasing@ohioturnpike.org). Bid Guaranty: if Specified in the Notice to Bidders, No Bid Will Be Considered Unless Accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the Proper Amount. The Bid Guaranty May Be in the Form of a Combined Bid Guaranty/performance Bond or Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit and Shall Be in the Amount Called for in the Notice To Bidders. The Small Business Enterprise Goal (including SBE) is waived. Each Bid must be on the form prescribed by the Commission and must comply with the terms and conditions set forth in all of the documents provided with this Bid Invitation. The award of the Contract, if any award be made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder therefor whose Bid complies with all the prescribed requirements. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor technicalities or minor irregularities. Withdrawal of Bids: A Bidder may withdraw its Bid, provided the written request to withdraw is in the hands of the Procurement Manager by the time set for the Opening of Bids. When such Bid is reached, it will be returned to the Bidder unopened. No Bid may be withdrawn after it has been opened, except under such circumstances and upon such terms and conditions as the Commission may require. Bid Validity: Bids are valid for sixty (60) calendar days after Bid Opening during which time the Commission shall either award or reject Bids. If no action is taken during the sixty (60) calendar day period, the Bids shall become invalid. Term of Contract: Delivery is required within ninety (90) days from the date of issuance of the Purchase Order. The term of the Contract to be entered into between the Commission and the successful Bidder shall be from the date of the Purchase Order but shall remain in effect until the end of the calendar month in which the term would otherwise expire and this will be a one-time purchase. Rejection of Bid by Commission: If the lowest Bidder is not responsive or responsible, the Bidder shall be rejected, and the Commission's General Counsel or designee shall notify the Bidder in writing by ordinary mail and electronic mail of the finding and the reasons for the finding.
