The City of Richmond Hill is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the renovation of the exterior of the City Hall building located at 40 Richard R. Davis Drive. This renovation aims to enhance the building's aesthetic appeal, ADA compatibility, durability and longevity. The scope will include replacement of the existing vinyl siding, trim, and windows, as well as the roof, with materials that are compatible with the City of Richmond Hill historic design district requirements. Additionally, the project will involve various exterior modifications to allow for ADA accessibility at the west and south entries. These improvements focus on enhancing the exterior envelope and overall site accessibility. Project Team: Names and qualifications of key personnel who will be working on the project. Detailed Scope of Work: A detailed description of how the contractor will meet the project requirements, including methods and materials to be used. Timeline: An estimated project schedule, including start and completion dates. Cost Estimate: A comprehensive cost breakdown, including the Contractor Fee and General Conditions labor, materials, permits, and any additional fees. References: Contact information for at least three references from similar projects completed within the last five years. Evaluation Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Experience and Qualifications: Relevant experience and qualifications of the contractor and project team. Approach and Methodology: Understanding of the project requirements and proposed approach. Cost: Overall cost and value for money. Timeline: Ability to meet the project timeline and deadlines. References: Feedback from previous clients. Question Deadline 08/21/2024 All Requests for Information must be made to the Architect in writing The Architect will respond to all RFI's in writing within 2 days of the request. The Architect will be available to individually meet each contractor to review the project requirements at their request. Terms and Conditions: The City of Richmond Hill reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. All submitted materials become the property of the City of Richmond Hill and will not be returned. The City is not responsible for any costs incurred by contractors in the preparation of their proposals. A Performance and Payment Bond or Bid Bond is not required. The Form of Agreement between the Owner and the selected Contractor shall be an AIA A101 Stipulated Sum.
