The City of Cortez is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide coating inspection and consulting services. The City of Cortez recently awarded a contract for drinking water clarifier rehabilitation work to Coblaco Services, Inc. This work consists of cleaning the clarifier structure and hardware, rehabilitating hardware for attachments, and blasting and recoating of specified clarifier structures and hardware. The clarifier is approximately 110 feet (110') in diameter and 17 feet (17') side water depth, and is located at the City of Cortez Water Treatment Plant, 27999 CR N, Dolores, CO 81323. The Clarifier Rehabilitation Project has a time frame of October 28, 2024 - March 14, 2025; thus, AMPP Coating Inspection Services will need to start no later than October 30, 2024. Questions regarding this RFP should be submitted in writing to Randy Hunt, Water Plant Superintendent, at rhunt@cortezco.gov. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
