Project Duration 200 Consecutive Working Days. Scope of Services The work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of removing and replacing ten floats and most of the associated guide piles, and three gangways, at ten public piers in Newport Harbor. Existing utilities and equipment are to be removed and replaced as-is. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Notes All responses for this Bid are due at or before the time shown on each Notice Inviting Bids. Late responses will not be accepted. Hard copy responses WILL NOT be accepted. The City is not responsible for and accepts no liability in the event a response is late due to any network, internet, or any other technical problem or interruption.
