Newburg Community Park Tree Planting. Questions Due Date: Aug 27th 2024, 3:00 PM EDT. The project consists of planting seventy (70) trees of various species with diameters of 2 to 2 1/2 inches each within Newburg Community Park, including all related landscaping and other associated work listed in the contract documents and on the plan. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Lower Nazareth Township or a Bid Bond in favor of Lower Nazareth Township at 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall each be in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and the Maintenance Bond shall be in the amount of 10% of the Contract Price and shall cover a maintenance period of one (1) year from the date of OWNER's acceptance of the completed work. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the opening date. Lower Nazareth Twp reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
