The Contractor hereby covenants and agrees with the Minister as herein provided in connection with the following work, namely: Project #43 - Souris River Rd, Gay Rd, Clay Rd, Shore Rd, Martinvale Rd 2024 Souris River Rd - Rte 330 - (Section 35801, Station 1317-2317) Gays Rd - (Section 32303, Station 0-1200) Clay Rd -Rte 328 - (Section 32801, Station 1800-3000) Shore Rd - (Section 60270, Station 0-300) Martinvale Rd - Rte 321 - (Section 32102, Station 3055-4155) For a total distance of 4.800 km This work includes: Cold planning 2.6 metre strip along shoulder on each side of road (1.4 metres of asphalt and 1.2 metres of existing shoulder material) (55mm) where required, placing asphalt levelling A (55 mm) in 2.6 metre strip cut on each side of road where required, placing asphalt seal B (45 mm) full width and all other work necessary to complete the Contract. The Contractor agrees to complete the work on, or before October 25, 2024 a bid bond equal to or greater than the amount stipulated in Schedule A - Schedule of Special Provisions. The bond shall be from a surety company authorized to carry on business in Canada guaranteeing to supply a performance bond equal to 50% of the Contract value, excluding HST and a labour and material bond equal to 25% of the Contract value, excluding HST. a certified cheque in the minimum amount of ten percent (10%) of the Contract value, excluding HST, which shall be retained until the warranty period (one (1) year after substantial completion) has elapsed
