Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Dahlgren, Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The work includes but not limited to modifying and testing of the protection and control systems of the existing 7.5/10.5 MVA, 34.5 – 4.16 KV transformer at substation # 4. Providing a new secondary unit substation, which comprises of a medium voltage primary switchgear, a 3.7/5.2 MVA transformer, a 6000 amps low voltage switchgear with draw out circuit breakers, protection and control systems. Providing new 300 and 500 KVA low voltage pad-mounted transformers. Providing new medium and low voltage cables. Providing new equipment pads, concrete-encased duct bank, hardstands, safety switches, panel boards, grounding and related work.
