Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Indian Head, Maryland. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

The work includes the general renovation of all existing spaces interior to Building 715. Work on the exterior of the building shall include but not be limited to modification of the existing mechanical systems, roof replacement and complete renovation of the existing mechanical room located outside rear of the building, with concrete equipment pads and supports to be included. Interior work shall include but not be limited to, installation of new 2ton bridge crane system, painting for the interior, (1) new unisex bathroom, removal of ACM, new mechanical systems, complete replacement of the existing fire protection system, lighting replacement, work and replacement of overhead doors and other work related to security. PHASING OF WORK IS REQUIRED IN THIS PROJECT. SEE CONTRACT DRAWINGS. Offerors who determine that the technical and or contractual requirements of this RFP require clarification(s) in order to permit submittal of a responsive proposal shall submit all questions in writing. All inquiries must be made in writing and shall be submitted via email to suzanne.k.crist2.civ@us.navy.mil no later than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the proposal due date with inquiries attached as a Excel document (no tables please) Attachment C. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
