The Otay Water District (District) will require the services of an engineering consulting firm to provide professional Plan Checking and Recycled Water Inspection Services in support of the Public Services Division on an as-needed basis, for a period of three fiscal years (FY 2025-FY 2027) for a not-to-exceed amount of $850,000. Consultants must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. If a consultant submits a proposal, but is not registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, their proposal will be considered unresponsive.
