Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Dexter, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
West Laurens High School Tennis Court Replacement. The Laurens County School District (hereinafter referred to as LCSD) is hereby seeking proposals from firms to provide services for the West Laurens High School Tennis Court Replacement located in Dexter, GA which include asphalt milling, milling removal off-site, fine grading of stone base, asphalt paving, tennis court surfacing, accessories replacement, and fencing replacement. The approximate budget for this project is $450,000. Late responses will not be considered. To be accepted, all responses must be submitted in a sealed package marked "Proposal for West Laurens High School Tennis Court Replacement". Two (2) hard copies of each proposal must be addressed or delivered to. The LCSD will select the lowest bid to enter into a contract for the construction of the above referenced project. Award of the contract will be based on lowest qualified bid. Description West Laurens High School Tennis Court Replacement located in Dexter, GA which will include asphalt milling, milling removal off-site, fine grading of stone base, asphalt paving, tennis court surfacing, accessories replacement, and fencing replacement. West Laurens Middle School contains (2) four court tennis complexes separated by a building and sidewalks. The project includes demo of existing fencing in its entirety, demo of existing net posts and nets, complete milling of the existing asphalt courts (approximately 3.5" depth) including offsite haul off of millings, installation of a 12"x12" concrete curb around perimeter of (2) four court complexes, laser grading of existing stone base with minor rehabilitation of stone replacement (5 truckloads), compaction of existing stone to 98% standard proctor, installation of 2" 19mm asphalt binder course and 1.5" 9.5mm type II asphalt mix as top coat, installation of textured acrylic tennis court surfacing, installation of new chain link fencing in same configuration as existing, installation of new windscreen on perimeter fence, and installation of new net posts including footings and nets.
