Statements of Qualifications from qualified individuals and firms capable of performing surveying services that may be associated with KCDPW projects and other County needs. Project Scope: KCDPW desires to have a firm or firms available for a variety of surveying tasks associated with various KCDPW projects including roads, bridges, trails, stormwater and sewer projects or other County needs. Consultant Scope: The work to be performed includes but is not limited to: o Conduct topographic surveys for engineering design. o Perform volume calculations for materials. o Utilize 3D laser scanning technology where appropriate. o Perform field verifications and survey plan checks. o Prepare Record of Survey or Right of Way plans when required based on project needs. o Locate utilities, property corners markers, monitoring wells, or other features. o Research title documents and land ownership records. o Prepare property descriptions as needed in support of County Real Estate Department. o Support County survey department with construction staking services. o Prepare as-built and record drawings for construction projects. o Utilize drone surveying technology where appropriate. o Perform bathymetry where appropriate. o Other miscellaneous surveying related services as generally associated with the profession. Deliverables will be required to be provided in Kitsap County formats. Templates will be provided to the selected firms upon contract execution. Schedule: This contract is expected to be executed in late 2024 with a term of two (2) years. At the sole option of KCPW the contract may be extended for up to two (2) years at one (1) year intervals. Fee estimate: The anticipated maximum total value of resultant contract(s): $100,000.
