Renovation of a municipal facility in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The existing building consists of a 2-storey structure and basement. The building is occupied by the Red Lion Supportive Housing on the second floor and the Lighthouse Shelter in the north end of the first floor, both operated by the Lookout Society. Currently, the basement is unoccupied. The project consists of two sub-projects: renovating the south end of the first floor to provide additional shelter space; and replacing the roof and upgrading the mechanical system of the entire building. Work for the two distinct scopes is to be treated as separate projects for accounting purposes, quoted and billed separately. Two applications for building permits have been submitted, awaiting issuance.
