Work Location: Harrisonburg Residency - Augusta, Rockingham and Page Counties Staunton District Harrisonburg Residency Notice for Snow and Ice Removal Services for 2024-2025 via M7B program. Refer to attachment for critical dates, instructions and how to submit via online Upon request, the Contractor shall furnish to the Department any and all equipment described in the Snow Removal Equipment Services Agreement submitted and approved through online along with experienced operator(s) for the purpose of providing snow removal and other road clearing treatment services described in the Agreement The Contractor shall provide Operational Services during the Term of each year of the Agreement. Cancellation of the Agreement: The Virginia Department of Transportation reserves the right to cancel and terminate this Agreement without penalty, upon 60 days written notice to the Contractor. The Agreement may also be terminated by the Contractor, without penalty, after April 30 each year of the agreement upon 60 days written notice to VDOT. Any Agreement cancellation notice shall not relieve the contractor of the obligation to perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation. Terms of Agreement: This Agreement will be a three (3) year term. The term starts from the date the Agreement is approved / awardedinPlow4VAthrough April 2027. If the Contractor is not able to performa multipleyear agreement, the Contractor must comply with the Cancellation of Agreement clause for termination instructions Equipment bids submitted will be sorted by requested AHQ, equipment type and ranked by hourly rate from lowest to highest. Once ranked VDOT will begin assigning equipment to routes and mobilization levels. Equipment submitted beyond October 11, 2024, will be used tofill voids in the snow removal plan, as needed. VDOT has been tasked by the Governor to meet a 42% goal of State Funds to Small Business certified with the Department ofSmall Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD). VDOT is asking our Vendor Community to partner with VDOT to meet this goal.
