Mad Lick Forest Resiliency and Restoration Project. Comments Must Be Submitted Within 30 Calendar Days Following the Publication of the Legal Notice in the Daily News Record. The First Day is Counted the Day After the Legal Notice Publishes. The Proposed Project is an Activity Implementing a Land Management Plan and is Subject to Pre-decisional Objection Process at 36 Cfr 218 Subparts a and B. Only Those Who Submit Timely and Specific Comments During One of the Comment Periods Will Be Eligible to Object. All Individuals and Organizations Are Responsible for Ensuring That Their Comments Are Received in a Timely Manner. Comments Received, Including Commenter Names and Addresses, Will Be Considered Part of the Public Record on This Proposed Action and Will Be Available for Public Inspection. The Project Proposal Includes Vegetation Management, Prescribed Fire, Wildlife Habitat Enhancement, Non-native Invasive Plant Control, Watershed Restoration Activities and Recreation Enhancements. These Proposed Activities Would Move the Project Area Towards the Desired Conditions Outlined in the 2014 Revised Forest Plan for the George Washington National Forest. We Are Seeking Your Input That Would Contribute to a Decision Regarding This Project.
