Site work and paving for a road / highway in Whynotts Settlement, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Municipal Joint Services Board, is requesting submissions for concrete travel pad construction to be completed at 908 Mullock Road, Whynott's Settlement, Nova Scotia. The scope of work shall include the following: 1. The installation of 8 concrete strips 100 feet x 20 inches wide x 4 inches deep, including 15M rebar tied and placed as shown in Appendix D, Detail 5. 2. Control joints will be placed at 5-foot intervals throughout the length of travel pads. 3. Pads to be poured with minimum 32 MPA, air-entrained concrete with a smooth or light broom finish. 4. Work to include all placement and removal of forms. Base preparation will be completed prior to this contract. Backfilling will not be required. 5.
