This Request for Information (the "RFI") is an invitation by SaskTel to prospective Suppliers to submit responses for the purposes of gathering information to assist SaskTel in determining potential future purchasing options and requirements for Structured Cabling, as further described below. SaskTel has always done its best to be proactive in preparing our market and its customers for future technologies. In accordance with these principles, SaskTel is moving its cabling standard to Cat6A. What this means is that SaskTel will be utilizing Cat6A cable and materials for new installations. SaskTel has primarily been using Belden cabling/connectors/tools over the years and is looking to continue utilizing the Keystone design.
