The City of North Platte invites and welcomes proposals for the designing, fabrication, and installation of new city entrance signs on the north, south, east, and west entrances. All proposals submitted for consideration must be received by the submission deadline specified. The projected start date is Spring 2025. Design, fabricate, and install four entrance signs for the City of North Platte to welcome passersby and inform them of upcoming events or important notices. The project includes four (4) monument signs. Two (2) signs will be digital monument signs located on the north and south entrances, and two (2) will be LED illuminated monument signs located on the east and west entrances. The contractor will recommend layout, design, and dimensions as needed. The tentative total budget is $180,000. The north and south entrance signs will have identical designs and dimensions. These entrances have a higher volume of traffic than the east and west entrances, so they will need to be larger. The city would like north and south entrance signs to have a digital display with the ability to detail upcoming events and announcements. The tentative budget for the north and south signs is $70,000 each. The east and west entrance signs will have identical designs and dimensions. These will be smaller than the north and south entrance signs and will not have a digital display. Ideally, these would have internal LED illumination. The tentative budget for the east and west signs is $20,000 each. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
