Eau Claire County Expo Center Door Replacement. Bid Bond 5% if over $50K Scope of Work Eau Claire County is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the removal, disposal, and replacement of specified at the Eau Claire County Expo Center located at 5530 Fairview Dr. Eau Claire, WI 54701. Scope of Work ALL DOORS - Demo existing doors, disposal of material, and complete any necessary framing repairs or adjustments. All doors shall be 18 gauge insulated metal doors with 16 gauge assembled and welded frames and shall be painted to a county approved color. Swing of doors replaced should be replaced with same style and swing. A minimum of three (3) 4.5 ball bearing hinges per door. Installation of new ADA complaint thresholds at each door location. Neoprene door sweeps and weatherstripping installed on all doors. All hardware shall be commercial grade and satin chrome finish. All Medeco cores should be reused. DOORS #1, #2, #6, #7, and #8 have keyed entry from exterior. Key core from current door #2 will be transferred to new door #4. Door #1 - 3x7 door option to be metal door with full glass or aluminum store front glass door. New hardware for doors including outside exit lever trim, latch door side panic bar exit device (Cal-Roayal A9800EO or equivalent), door closer with hold open arm option. Electric strike for card reader on existing door can be reused. Door #2 - 3x7 door, no glass. New hardware for doors includes latch door side panic bar exit device (Cal-Roayal A9800EO or equivalent) and heavy-duty crash stop. No outside exit device trim necessary. Exterior building grade is lower and will require installation of new 5x4 pad to match threshold of the door. Existing patio pavers and timbers to be demoed and disposed of. Door #3 - 3x7 door, no glass. New hardware for doors includes latch door side panic bar exit device (Cal-Roayal A9800EO or equivalent) and heavy-duty crash stop. No outside exit device trim necessary Door #4 - 3x7 door, no glass. New hardware for doors includes outside exit lever trim, latch door side panic bar exit device (Cal-Roayal A9800EO or equivalent) and heavy duty crash stop. No outside exit device trim necessary. *Key core from current Door #2 will be used for this door.* Door #5 - 3x7 door, no glass.
