The work consists of a full upgrade to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system replacing equipment and upgrading building controls. New acoustic ceiling grid and tile and lighting. A roof retrofit with flute fill insulation and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) roof membrane. The flashing, gutters, and downspouts will also be replaced. Replacement of all carpeting, base, and painting of walls. the Bid Bond Form bound herein, payable to the State in the amount not less than 10% of the maximum bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee. A bank certified check or a cashier s check may accompany each bid as a guarantee pursuant to Wis. Stat. s. 779.14(lm)(c)2.b. and 779.14(1s). Failure to enter into the contract with the state (including failure to obtain certificate of insurance and separate 100% performance and 100% payment bonds) may result in forfeiture of the Bid Bond. The company issuing the Bonds must be licensed to do business in Wisconsin. The successful General Prime Contractor Bidder must agree to commence the work on or after a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed issued by the state and to fully complete all the work within 515 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Completion time will be converted to a specific date at the time the Notice to Proceed is issued.
