Southern Arkansas University is soliciting responses from qualified construction management firms to provide professional Construction Management General Contractor (CM-GC) services related to the planning and construction of a football weightroom, football stadium renovation, and new football press box, on the Southern Arkansas University Campus, Magnolia, Arkansas. Construction management services required will include preconstruction assistance for the University and construction of the projects. The anticipated components that will be included are: 1. Construction of a new weight room. The building will be a single-story faux brick veneer building connected to the existing Dawson Athletic Center. The building is approximately 5,250 sq. ft. 2. Renovation of the existing home side stands. The renovation will include the construction of meeting rooms to seat 100 individuals. The installation of faux brick on the entire exterior of the stands, and a new drainage system between the locker room and stadium. 3. Demolition and construction of a 2-story press box to include an elevator and faux brick exterior.
