Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
The purpose of this design-bid-build project is to renovate Barracks buildings 4275 & 4285 in 2 phases at Ft. Jackson, SC. Each phase will be start to completion of a building before renovating the next building. 30 Days will be required to vacate the building prior to commencing work. The buildings are to have to following repairs, but not limited to; Prep, prime and paint walls. Overlay an epoxy coating on stairways. Strip, clean and apply acrylic sealer overlay to latrine floors. Remove wall tile grout and re-grout in latrines. Remediate lead-based paint, prep, prime and paint walls in utility area of latrines. Prep, prime and paint existing suspended ceiling grid in corridors and classrooms. Replace existing acoustic ceiling tile in corridors and classrooms. Prep, prime and paint gypsum ceiling in latrines and sleeping bays. Install air transfer grill in latrines. Replace ceiling diffusers. Replace dampers. Install new ductless split HVAC unit. Install new supply and exhaust fans. Install new ductwork. Test and balance HVAC system.
