A timeline for award has not yet been established.** All labor, materials, services and equipment necessary for the Replacement Roof at the Kiln Readiness Center. Roof will be a new modified bitumen roof system. The old roof will be removed down to the roof decking and new insulation installed. 1,250 square feet of 1.5" intermediate rib 22 GA galvanized roof deck over deteriorated metal decking should be included in Base Bid. Detach and rest all Plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components on current roof structure. Also, repair or replace any damaged or defective roof substructure components identified after the original roof has been removed. Project will ensure proper drainage. Install the roofing to ensure blowing rain cannot enter the structure. Install walk pads in and around all roof top equipment. This project will include mobilization, site preparation, equipment, and materials. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable building codes and accepted industry standards. FOR: Replace Roof at Kiln Readiness Center, Kiln, MS Bidders shall be advised that in accordance with the Mississippi Code, the Military Department has Thirty (30) calendar days to deliver a warrant to the vendor from the date an application for payment is determined to be due and payable under the terms and conditions of the contract. The Adjutant General reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities. Award of contract is subject to availability of funds. Bids will be held open for 60 days from bid date.
