Construction Services for chiller replacement in Thompson Center, located on the east bank of the Twin Cities campus. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements. The total construction budget for this Project is $290,000 (current dollars, no escalation). Deadline for RFP Questions August 20, 2024 at Noon Anticipated Authorization to Proceed September 13, 2024 Project scope Removal of one of two existing Disconnect hydronic piping Disconnect electrical - power supply, controls wiring, etc Remove chiller from roof Contractor furnished like-for-like replacement or University approved equivalent air cooled chiller with glycol as the working fluid Install new chiller on existing chiller supports Reconnect piping to existing (from chiller to headers) Reconnect electrical or controls cabling/wiring
