The Town of Erving, Massachusetts, acting through the Select Board, is issuing an invitation for bids for the milling and repaving of identified sections (approximately 8,810') of North Street in Erving, MA. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. SCOPE OF WORK Mill to a depth of 2 and repave with a topcoat of asphalt (SSC 9.5) to a depth of 2, maintaining the existing road crown and grades in the areas identified below. Section 1: Approximately 22wide x 140 (+/-) long, full width mill and overlay Section 2: Approximately 28wide x 790 (+/-) long, full width mill and overlay Section 3: Approximately 24wide x 7,880 (+/-) long, full width mill and overlay Asphalt emulsion shall be used as a tack coat and all tapered joints between new and existing asphalt are to be sealed. Repair any driveway aprons and approaches to mailboxes that are altered as a result of the work. No structure adjustments, guardrail adjustments, line painting, or loam and seed are required for this work. Warranties: The Contractor will warranty the installation and labor for this work for up to one (1) year from the completion of the installation.
