The scope of work of the Base Bid includes installation of approximately 60 linear feet of open cut point repairs of 8" sanitary sewers at four (4) locations; replacement of 60 linear feet of building connections including two (2) chimneys; 2,334 linear feet of root treatment; 5,701 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe; grouting 164 service connections in cured-in-place pipe; 282 linear feet of structural cured-in-place pipe; grouting seven (7) service connections in structural cured-in-place pipe; cutting of two (2) protruding service connections; exterior grouting and interior sealing of 191 vertical feet of sewer manholes; grouting and patching two (2) sewer manholes; installation of three (3) manhole inflow dishes; building of bench and invert for one (1) manhole; 5,983 linear feet of post-construction flow isolation; and other related tasks in the Town of Arlington, Massachusetts. The scope of work for Alternate Bid No. 3 includes approximately: 179 linear feet of root treatment; 573 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe; grouting seven (7) service connections in curedin-place pipe; cutting of one (1) protruding service connection; exterior grouting and interior sealing of 49 vertical feet of sewer manholes; and 573 linear feet of post-construction flow isolation; and other related tasks in the Town of Arlington, Massachusetts. Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Equal Employment Opportunity polices of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) are applicable to this Contract.
