The Moraga Orinda Fire District (MOFD) requests proposals/bids for the purchase of residential stainless steel 5" and 6" gutter covering material meeting. Equipment: Stainless steel gutter covering material must meet the following specifications: Gutter covering materials will be made of stainless-steel micro-mesh with an extruded aluminum frame. An appropriate number of corrosion resistant, self-tapping screws will be packaged with each box of material. Material provided will be warrantied for 25 years against defective parts. All material will be shipped directly to the Home Hardening Grant recipient within the Moraga Orinda Fire Protection District as requested by the Fire District. All shipping and delivery costs will be included in per-foot cost for either 5" or 6" gutter covering material included in the proposal. Material will be ordered and shipped in units of 24' and/or 100'. Bidders will make multiple shipments approximately every two weeks based on the grant awards and information/orders emailed by the Fire District to the bidder The district will make payments as the shipments are delivered to the grant awardees. The successful bidder will include a one-page information sheet (text and layout will be provided by the fire district) with every individual shipment. MOFD reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to accept minor deviations from the minimum standards specified.
