Site work for a civil project in Hanley, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
The Saskatoon Southeast Non-Potable Canal - Broderick to Dellwood (SSNPCBD)-STA 4+291 R2 Canal Crossing Replacement project is the replacement of an existing dual CSP culvert crossing that has reached the end of its design life. The new crossing will consist of precast concrete box culverts and allows a variety of vehicular traffic to safely pass over the SSEWS Canal, which provides irrigable, non-potable water to Saskatchewan farmers. The SSEWS canal operates seasonally from May to late September and there is a strong desire to have this project completed in the 2024 construction season. The area will be available for construction late September/early October. We anticipate lead times on pre-cast box culverts may impact construction and steps have been taken to expedite award to minimize the impact. SaskWater is Saskatchewan's commercial Crown water utility, helping communities, First Nations and industry gain access to trusted and sustainable water solutions for a vibrant Saskatchewan.
