These two projects are collectively identified as Project Code 123-18668-002, at Sandston, VA. The Site Work Package project is generally described as all preliminary site work for the entire Army Aviation Support Center (AASF) complex, and other associated Work, indicated in the Contract Documents. The Phase I project is generally described as construction of an approximately 38,000 sq. ft. specially designed National Guard Aircraft Maintenance Hangar of permanent construction. The project includes aircraft taxiways, aircraft tie down, aircraft aprons, utility services, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, parking areas, site improvements, and other associated Work, indicated in the Contract Documents. All bids SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope. No other forms of security, including certified checks, will be accepted. A Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance Bond (DGS-30-084, form CO-10) and a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (DGS-30-088, form CO-10.1) WILL be required regardless of the bid amount. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids.
