Site work and paving for a civil project in Eagan, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
7031-9003 Siphon Outlet and 7030 FM Improvements. Description: This Project is located near 3740 Nicols Road in Eagan, Dakota County, Minnesota. All Work will be within Nicols Road and Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way or on Metropolitan Council owned parcels, surrounded by and within areas of environmental and archaeological significance. This will limit construction methods for sequencing, scheduling, excavation, dewatering, restoration, etc. General work components include (1) removal of manhole (MH) 1 and replacement with a 10-foot fiberglass reinforced plastic MH, (2) removal of the South Junction Structure and replacement with a 12- foot cast-in-place square concrete structure with corrosion resistant panels, (3) repair of a 60-inch unlined bend, (4) relocation, cleaning, inspection, and abandonment of approximately 850 linear feet of 30-inch forcemain. Some of the temporary conveyance was installed as part of a previous project. All conveyance will need to be removed and disposed of upon completion of components 1 through 3. The MCUB participation goal for this contract is 5%.
