Saulteaux Consulting and Engineering Inc, on behalf of the Corporation of the Township of Alberton, wishes to obtain proposals from reputable construction firms for the complete construction and assessment of a pre-fabricated steel structure and foundation. The Corporation of the Township of Alberton seeks to construct the foundation and erect a pre-engineered, pre-fabricated steel building around their existing outdoor ice rink. The bidder should include the following items: 1. Mobilization to site, 2. Removal of existing pole mounted lights including wooden poles. 3. Regrading and/or adding fill to meet the needs of the foundation 4. Installation of concrete foundation and reinforcing. 5. Forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete foundation 6. Installation of helical piles for end wall supports. 7. Assembly and erection of the provided metal building kit. The metal building kit shall be erected in accordance with the provided manufactures drawings and specifications. An immediate start date is desired. The steel building has been sourced and is expected to be delivered to the site for early December. This will allow approximately 2 months to prepare the foundation. Steel erection to be started as soon as the building arrives on site. Project completion targeted for December 31st, 2024.
