Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project includes the following Work: Approximately 2,400 CY excavation, 6,500 SY topsoil placement and grading including seeding and erosion control mat and the placement of densely graded base for the substation site. The project also includes the installation of storm sewer improvements and construction of a pond consisting of approximately 140 LF of RCP storm sewer, 1 manhole, and 5 endwalls, 900 CY clay pond liner and an outlet structure. The anticipated substantial completion date is October 14, 2024 for the gravel driveway and storm sewer and final completion date for final site grading, pond grading, and site restoration is November 1, 2024. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
