Description

Site work for a pipeline in Elmhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.

The Owner invites sealed Bidder's Proposals for the Work described in the Contract, generally detailed as follows: Providing galvanic cathodic protection to existing steel water mains. This includes auguring anode and coupon/reference electrode wells to depths ranging from 10 to 25 feet at ten different project sites within Elmhurst, Carol Stream, Winfield, and West Chicago. The work involves installing 48-pound magnesium anodes and coupon/reference electrode assemblies in each well, and trenching or using horizontal directional drilling to connect anode and coupon wires to existing DuPage Water Commission handhole structures.
