Interior improvements to the Road Department office to include materials and labor for insulation, drywall, door, drop ceiling and flooring installation. Any bid over $50,000 requires an Alabama General Contractors License. All bids must be on the County's bid forms and placed in a sealed envelope with the Bid Number and the date the bid is to be opened typed or written on the envelope. No bids will be accepted for any reason, whatsoever, which are not submitted by the time and the place specified. All bids must be in compliance with all applicable laws of the State of Alabama. The County reserves the right to waive any formality in any bid, and to reject any or all bids and to make an award in any manner, consistent with applicable law, deemed in the best interest of the County. The County also reserves the right not to enter into any contract as a result of this bid invitation. Interior improvements to include the following: 1. R-13 fiberglass batt insulation in all walls (exterior and interior). 2. %" gypsum board on all walls with orange peel finish. 3. 24"x24"xl" Armstrong Ultima High NRC (or equivalent) square lay-in fine textured ceiling system. 4. Masonite (or equivalent) 6 panel, hollow core, textured, pre-hung interior doors at locations indicated on floor plan. Handles supplied by owner. 5. Masonite (or equivalent) 6 panel, impact steel, pre-hung exterior doors at locations indicated on the floor plan. Handles supplied by owner. 6. Sherwin Williams Emerald Interion acrylic latex paint satin finish on office and hallway walls, semigloss on restroom walls, doors and trim. 7. Life Proof(or equivalent) 6.5 mm thickness, 22 mil wear layer rigid core drop-and-l 8. I"x4" radiate pine base boards throughout building. 9. Owner supplied restroom fixtures to be installed by contractor (toilet and vanity) in all restrooms.
