Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hampton, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
Question Deadline 08/23/2024 Questions must be received by Engineer at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. The work includes the demolition and reconstruction of the Bicentennial Park Seawall along Ocean Boulevard and associated improvements. Improvements to the seawall and surrounding area include the removal of approximately 275 feet of concrete seawall and reconstruction of +/-350 feet of concrete seawall, the resetting of existing stone revetment, the installation of new stone revetment, the reconstruction of public concrete sidewalks, the installation of new benches and bike racks, and the construction of a concrete access ramp. All work under this contract shall be completed within one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days. Each bidder must deposit with his bid a certified check or a Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the bid as provided for in the Instructions for Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid will be required. No bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids when such an action is deemed in the best interests of the Town.
