Site work and paving for a civil project in Piney Point Village, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes the asphalt reclamation of the existing asphalt pavement for the full lengths of Tokeneke Trail, Innisfree Street, Williamsburg Drive, and Green Oaks Drive. The project also includes the installation of a section of a storm sewer system to replace the existing, outdated storm sewer systems along the ROW in front of 11313, 11309, 11305 Green Vale Drive as well as 610 Grecian Way. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the largest possible total for the bid submitted as a guaranty of completion of the forms provided by the City within 10 days after notice of award. Bid sureties will be returned to all but the three lowest acceptable bidders within 24 hours after execution of the contract. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, upon forms furnished by the City, each in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract price, from a surety company acceptable to the City of Piney Point Village. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities and accept any bid that it deems advantageous of itself. In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in stating the prices in the bids, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bids. Unreasonable or "Unbalanced" unit prices will be sufficient cause for rejection of any kind.
