Renovation of a museum in Triangle, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,700-square-foot museum.
Please see the attached Request for Quotations (RFQ) number M00264-24-Q-0182 and its associated attachments. Scope The NMMC Legacy Walk gallery flooring is becoming unsightly as, over 17 years, small areas of carpet have been replaced when damaged. This patchwork of repairs is beginning to degrade the overall look of the flooring and NMMC requires a total carpet replacement. In addition, NMMC requires two (2) interactive information kiosks to be built to match the one existing. This will allow NMMC the ability to have media-based directory signage in the gallery. VENDOR QUESTIONS: Any questions about this RFQ must be submitted via email to Molly Henderson at molly.henderson@usmc.mil no later than Friday, August 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. No further questions will be accepted after this deadline. Any resultant amendment from Q&A will be posted with Q&A. SUBMISSION OF QUOTES: Quotes shall be submitted no later than the time and date specified on Block 8 of page 1 of the SF1449 solicitation. Quotes shall be submitted electronically via email to Molly Henderson at molly.henderson@usmc.mil. Vendors are responsible for ensuring their quotes have been received by the date and time specified in Block 8 on Page 1 of this solicitation. Delivery delays that cause a quote to be late are not the responsibility of the Government agency. Contractor shall be responsible for disposal of flooring from NMMC property. 3.1.4. Clean and prepare concrete slab for new adhesive and carpet per manufacturer recommendations. The Contractor shall provide all materials needed to include adhesive and carpet. 3.1.5. Install new carpet squares in the area of work shown in Attachment 1. These are to match the design and functionality of the existing kiosk (see Attachment 2). NMMC will review the submitted drawings and make corrections as needed. The Contractor will revise the drawings per this guidance and resubmit to NMMC for final approval. Drawing(s) shall be C size and created in AutoCAD software. 3.2.2.
