Fieldcrest Drive and Brindletown Road 2023 Roadway Improvements Project. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Township of Plumsted" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by Township of Plumsted in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through the New Jersey Department of Transportation. the Scope of Work Contemplated for the Abovenamed Project Includes the Resurfacing, Drainage Improvements, and Related Appurtenances, of Fieldcrest Drive and Brindletown Road to the Limits and Extents Shown on the Plans, as Well as All Other Work of Any Type or Description Necessary for Completion of the Project, Whether or Not Specifically Described in These Contract Documents. All Work on This Contract Shall Be Completed Within (60) Calendar Days From Notice to Proceed. The Township of Plumsted Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bid Packets to the Extent Permitted by Law. An Award Will Be Made or Bid Packets Will Be Rejected Within Sixty (60) Calendar Days After the Opening of the Bid Packets, During Which Time the Bid Packets Shall Be Irrevocable and Unavailable to Withdraw by Bidders, Unless Otherwise Extended in the Contract Documents.
