BID # 25-05 Maria Drive and Jansen Court Improvements. Bids shall be electronically uploaded; no physical bids shall be received, opened, or honored. The bidder must ensure that the bid package is delivered by the bid opening date and time. Any bid document received after the deadline established will not be accepted, regardless of the delivery method. If indicated, bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not over twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars, and made payable to the Township of Plumsted. If bids are to be submitted electronically per this notice, then the bidder shall submit a copy of the bid guarantee with electronic submittal and mail PRIOR to bid opening the original to the Municipal Clerk's office, Plumsted Municipal Building, 121 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533. The bid bond may also be provided in a certified check or a cashier's check per the provisions within the general requirements of this bid. Contract documents may be obtained from the bid platform. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, and all other applicable laws referenced within the drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Plumsted Township reserves the right to reject all bids according to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid should it be in the interest of Plumsted Township to do so. Further, Plumsted Township shall reject any bid containing material nonconformities or conditions or that is materially nonresponsive. If Plumsted Township does not reject all bids as permitted under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4, and other applicable laws, the Project will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
