Renovation of a water / sewer project in Beaumont, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Project is located in City of Beaumont. The project consists of upgrades to the: Phase One: Supply and installation of all new power distribution equipment in or on the existing Pump House and all new underground power servicing provisions to both the existing Pump House and the existing Fill Station as noted on the drawings in preparation for Fortis scope of work described in Phase Two. New underground power servicing provisions to be connected during Phase Two scope of work. Phase Two: Existing Fortis 225KVA - 13.8KV - 347/600V pad mounted transformer to be removed and replaced with new Fortis 1,000KVA - 347/600V pad mount transformer at same existing location on site by Fortis. Fortis to remove existing concrete housekeeping pad and replace with new Fortis supplied and installed concrete transformer base. Fortis to reuse or replace with new existing transformer grounding. Existing Fortis 225KVA transformer serves both the existing Pump House and the existing Fill Station. Existing 450KW emergency power generator in the existing Pump House to be utilized for temporary operations power during the Fortis transformer upgrade. Contractor to provide portable 100KW, 347/600V, 3-Phase, 4-Wire generator and temporarily connect portable generator to existing 3P-100A, 347/600V main breaker in existing Fill Station for the during of construction until new power service is operational. Phase Two: Once Fortis has completed the supply and installation of the new 1,000KVA pad mount transformer, underground primary conduit/cable, and grounding the electrical contractor will make final new secondary power service connections to new power distribution equipment installed by the electrical contractor during Phase One in coordination with Fortis prior to energization of the new power system. New power distribution system to back-feed existing power distribution system as described on the drawings. Phase Three: Systematic removal of existing power distribution equipment and connection of existing powered end devices (lighting, receptacles, equipment, etc.) to new power distribution system installed during Phase One. Disconnect two (2) existing 60hp, 600V pump motors to facilitate their replacement with two (2) 200hp, 600V pump motors. Provide new connections to two (2) new 200hp pump motors and three (3) existing 60hp pump motors from new power distribution equipment.
